Monitor patients w/ asthma during treatment. Discontinue use if there are signs of bronchospasm. Administer after meals in patients w/ history of gastritis. Ensure adequate fluid intake. Pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended in childn <6 yr.
Co-administration w/ cough relievers (antitussives) may cause cessation of dangerous secretions. Tetracycline HCl must be given separately by at least 2 hr interval. Increased vasodilating effects & blood flow w/ glycerol trinitrate (nitroglycerin).
