Mefenamic acid

Indications/Uses

Relief of mild to moderate pain eg, headache, toothache, primary dysmenorrhea, traumatic pain, muscle pain & post-op pain.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn >14 yr Initially 500 mg, followed by 250 mg 6 hrly.

Administration

Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Bronchospasm, allergic rhinitis & urticaria w/ aspirin. Gastric & intestinal ulcer. Severe renal disorder.
