Allylestrenol

Indications/Uses

Threatened & habitual miscarriage, premature labor.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Threatened miscarriage 1 tab 3 times daily for 5-7 days. Threatened premature labor Max: 40 mg daily. Habitual miscarriage 1-2 tab daily starting as soon as pregnancy is confirmed. Continue therapy for at least 1 mth after the critical period.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Abnormal liver function.

Special Precautions

Diabetes.

Adverse Reactions

GI disturbances.
