Description:
Mechanism of Action: Batroxobin acts on fibrinogen to produce a fibrin monomer that can be converted by thrombin to a fibrin clot. It is used as a haemostatic, and in larger doses, to induce a hypofibrinogen state in the management of thromboembolic disorders. |
