Relief of inflammatory & pruritic manifestations in corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thinly into the affected area 2-4 times daily.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Primary infections of the skin due to bacteria, fungi or virus. Rosacea, acne, perioral dermatitis, redness in the bandaged site, anogenital pruritus. Childn <2 yr.
Special Precautions
Discontinue if irritation occurs. Should be prescribed along w/ antibacterial or antifungal agents in case of infections. Not for ophth use. Avoid contact w/ eye. Systemic absorption of topical corticosteroid may cause reversible hypothalmic pituitary adrenal, suppression of joints, Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycemia, glycosuria in some patients. Long-term use may cause superinfections. Do not apply bandages or cover the medicated skin except when advised by the doctor. Do not use bandages in face area or in childn. Pregnancy & lactation.
