Contraindications
MI, hyperthyroidism, paroxysmal tachycardia, severe angina.

Special Precautions
Peptic ulcers, tachyarrhythmias, uncompensated CCF. Pregnancy and lactation.

Trembling, nervousness, weakness, dizziness, palpitations, nausea, vomiting, anaemia.

Action
Description:
Mechanism of Action: Buphenine is a sympathomimetic that produces peripheral vasodilatation via stimulation of beta-adrenoceptors. It also acts directly on the arteries and arterioles of the skeletal muscles. It also suppresses uterine contractility thereby preventing premature labour. |
