Relieve symptoms of short-term (occasional) & long-term (chronic) constipation.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Short-term (occasional) constipation 1 sachet daily. Max: 7 days, discontinue if bowel movement has returned to normal. Long-term (chronic) constipation 1 sachet daily for 7-14 days. Reconstitution: Dissolve 1 sachet w/ 250 mL of water.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Intestinal obstruction.
Special Precautions
Nausea, vomiting & digestive tract pain. Sudden change in bowel habits after 2 wk of use. Irritable bowel syndrome. Pregnancy & lactation.
Increased risk of side effects (eg, seizures, arrhythmias, fluid & electrolyte disorders) w/ drugs that may elevate the risk of electrolyte disturbances. May cause flushing when co-administered w/ other oral drugs w/in 1 hr. May increase risk of mucosal ulceration or ischemic colitis w/ other stimulant laxatives.
