Solar lentigines (hyperpigmentation due to UV light exposure).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply w/ applicator tip twice daily, in the morning & at night w/ 8 hrly interval.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity reaction. Have a history of sensitivity reaction to any component of this drug. Patient treated w/ photosensitizer substance, including thiazides, tetracycline, fluoroquinolones, phenothiazides, sulfonamides. Pregnancy, lactation.
Special Precautions
Do not apply to sensitive patient to acitretin, etrinate, isotretinoin, or other Vit A derivatives. Prolonged use for >52 wk. Patients w/ severe skin irritation w/ eczema. Do not apply to skin w/ burn wound. Patients w/ a history of vitiligo. Avoid application in perioral area, peri optical area, & mucous membrane. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Do not use concomitantly w/ other photosensitizing products eg, thiazides, tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, phenothiazines, sulfonamides) as it may increase the phototoxicity. Childn.
