Special Precautions
Hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus, heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmias, cerebrovascular disease, angle-closure glaucoma, 2nd stage of labor, elderly.

Adverse Reactions
Anxiety, tremor, tachycardia, arrhythmias, headache, cold extremities, nausea, vomiting, sweating, weakness, dizziness and hyperglycaemia.
Potentially Fatal: Hypertension, pulmonary oedema. |
Drug Interactions
Tricyclic antidepressants, clonidine.
Potentially Fatal: Volatile anaesthetics, adrenergic neurone blockers, β-blockers. |
