Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to parecoxib Na, sulphonamides or to any of the excipients. Patients who have experienced bronchospasm, acute rhinitis, nasal polyps, angioneurotic oedema, urticaria or allergic-type reactions after taking ASA or NSAIDs or other COX-2 selective inhibitors. Severe hepatic impairment, active peptic ulceration or GI bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, severe CHF. Treatment of post-op pain immediately following CABG surgery. Pregnancy (3rd trimester) & lactation.
