Per 5 mL
Salbutamol sulphate 1.2 mg, guaifenesin 50 mg
Indications/Uses
Bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis & emphysema.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr
2-4 tsp 2-3 times daily.
Childn 6-12 yr
2 tsp 2-3 times daily.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals.
Special Precautions
Hyperthyroidism, coronary disease including HTN, coronary disturbances & DM. Concomitant administration w/ β-blockers.
Adverse Reactions
Fine tremor of skeletal muscle especially hands, slight tachycardia, palpitations & peripheral vasodilation. Headache. GI upsets & drowsiness.
