Action
Description:
Mechanism of Action: Fenoverine is a non-anticholinergic synchronizer of smooth muscle motility. It modulates calcium gradient across the muscular cell membrane by regulating the influx of the extracellular calcium and/or release of the intracellular pool. Therefore, fenoverine effectively inhibits the asynchronous spasmodic contractions without appreciable interferences with the physiological synchronous motility of the intestine. Pharmacokinetics: Absorption: Oral: Well absorbed. |
