Monobasic Na phosphate 19 g, dibasic Na phosphate 7 g
Indications/Uses
Management of acute constipation. Bowel cleansing prior to colonoscopy & endoscopic exam. Post-op care or to relieve faecal or barium impaction.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn ≥12 yr 118 mL as single dose.
Contraindications
Congenital megacolon, imperforate anus, CHF or when nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain is present.
Special Precautions
Impaired renal function, heart disease or preexisting electrolyte disturbances or in patients on Ca-channel blockers, diuretics or other medications which may affect the electrolyte levels or where colostomy exists.
